A walk passing through the lovely countryside of north Thornbury. This walk includes the Medieval Ponds.

The Walking for Health project provides a range of led group walks for people of all ages and walking abilities. Walking is a great way to increase your activity levels, taking part with a group can help you to feel safer and allow you to explore areas you may not feel confident to do so on your own.

11am: Walking for Health: Alveston and Beyond

Outside The Ship Inn, Thornbury Rd, Alveston BS35 3LL
Parking available in pub car park.

This walk covers flat land, with occasional steep inclines/declines across surfaced and un-surfaced paths. Possibility of livestock in fields and will be muddy if it has recently rained. Refreshments and toilets available at pub after the walk.
