This Mum Runs

Totally free Thornbury running group for mums “This Mum Runs” has launched regular local runs designed to empower women to get happier and healthier, as well as having a laugh and meeting other local parents.

Those interested should join the “This Mum Runs Bristol” Facebook group and search for details of the Thornbury runs, as well as joining the locally-focused “Thornbury Mums Running Chat” Facebook group.

We meet on Wednesday evenings at 7.30pm and Sunday mornings at 8am on the little grassy hill opposite the Tesco petrol station, lead a warm up and cool down, and run at a very friendly chatty pace, with lots of “looping” so the whole group stays together and no-one gets left behind. It’s ideal for people who haven’t run for a while, or who have perhaps done the Couch to 5K programme but need the motivation to keep it going!
