The club runs two adult teams and a youth section running from U6 to U18 and caters for both male and female teams. The exact date of the formation of a football club in Thornbury is uncertain, but it is known that football was being played in the town in 1896 and that there was a Thornbury Town Club in 1898. The youth section was originally formed in 1990 as a separate club (Thornbury Falcons) and ran in this capacity for many successful years covering teams for boys and girls up to U16. In 2010 the two clubs merged to form a new Thornbury Town FC while retaining adult and junior sections (up to U18).
If you wish to join the Club, please call the Youth Chairman, John Wormwell on 07974 191110, by email below or visit the Club House in Alveston next to the Ship Hotel. We are open all year round 8am-11pm.
