Old Down Cricket Club
Old Down Cricket Club is one of the oldest in the Bristol area having been formed as long ago as 1843. We play at the picturesque Park Ground behind Olveston Sports & Social Club & Olveston United FC on the Alveston Road at Old Down.
Our club facilities are highly regarded within the Bristol and District League and include our own ground and we benefit from a set of covers as well as permanent and temporary nets and a bowling machine which enhance our practice facilities.
We run two Saturday teams which play in the Bristol & District Cricket Association as well as running a Sunday X1 which plays friendly cricket. This year we are planning to have professional external coaching at the Senior nets.
The Club is always looking out for new players and anyone interested should contact Secretary Andy Rowen on 07977 698344/01454 418157 or click below to visit our website.
