We are planning a Family Fun Day in Kingswood Park on Wednesday 28 May 2014. As usual our aim is to provide a day of information and fun activities for all family members. There will be activities for all ages, bringing the whole family out together, to play together.
If you would like to participate by providing a stall/stand, an activity or a performance, please email below by 28th February 2014.
The Fun Run will take place on the morning of the Sunday 22nd June. This is a departure from the normal date of Father's Day and this year it is a week later. We have changed the date having listened to many people that have said that family commitments on Father's Day had prevented them running the race in the past.
The Fun Run committee are really excited about this year's event and plans are already in place to try and make it one of the best and largest Fun Run Events in the Region.
We expect this year's male and female races will be very competitive with interest already shown by some very good local runners and clubs.
We have a new website this year that will make it much easier to Register. Online registration is now open.

The club runs two adult teams and a youth section running from U6 to U18 and caters for both male and female teams. The exact date of the formation of a football club in Thornbury is uncertain, but it is known that football was being played in the town in 1896 and that there was a Thornbury Town Club in 1898. The youth section was originally formed in 1990 as a separate club (Thornbury Falcons) and ran in this capacity for many successful years covering teams for boys and girls up to U16. In 2010 the two clubs merged to form a new Thornbury Town FC while retaining adult and junior sections (up to U18).
