Old Down Country Park
School in the Forest is pleased to announce that we will be running a Holiday Club for the 3 days of the June Holidays.
If you are looking for childcare for your children while you go out to work the School in the Forest may be able to help.
School in the Forest has broken the mould slightly with its Holiday Club and we are proud to do so. We are committed to giving children the best experiences possible and we feel that more of these are had outside in the GREAT outdoors rather than stuck inside in front of a games console and that is what we offer the children who attend our Holiday Club.

Due to popular demand from children who were not old enough to attend the Nature Detectives day on the 6th April we have decided to run a Junior Nature Detectives Activity Day.
The age range for this activity day is up to the discretion of parents but would be ideal for children who are 3–7 years old.
This day will run slightly differently from the Nature Detectives day as parents will have to do the activities along with the children.
So for all of those junior adventurers who like the GREAT outdoors and love getting close up to wildlife then this is their chance.
Organisers of the Fun Run are aiming to raise even more than last year's £19,5000 for CLIC Sargent and local good causes.
The event starte in the early 1980s and draws huge numbers of runners, many from clubs that now consider Oldbury a main feature in their sporting calendar. Thornbury Running Club is closely associated with the event, and a host of talented club runners are involved.
The event is open to all ages, as well as those who want to walk the route, runners in fancy dress and teams - last year there were more than 900 entrants.
The fastest runners complete the course along country lanes in about 20 minutes, while others simply soak up the fun and enjoyment of the day.
Awards are presented to the best performers, with funds brought in through sponsorship, entry fees, a raffle and attractions on the day, including fairground rides, classic cars and a variety of stalls.
Committee member Chris Awde said "The organisation for this year's event more or less started... Read more >>
