Jo Jingles, the UK's Leading Music & Movement Group for pre-school children meets on Wednesday mornings during term time at The Chantry. For ages 6 months - 5 years.
We run birthday parties for children aged 1 to 5 years. The party lasts for one hour and is similar to a typical Jo Jingles session but can be tailored to include musical games and your child's favourite songs and instruments. If your venue is big enough, we will provide the parachute and bubble machine.

Swimming lessons for babies and toddlers at The Sheiling School in Thornbury Park (next to Thornbury Castle). Puddle Ducks classes are packed full of fun with songs, actions and rhymes to help your child enjoy the water, be safe and learn to swim independently.

We are a Quality Assured nursery, committed to providing the highest standard of childcare possible. Rainbow Teddies is run by parents/carers for the benefit of their children and children in the surrounding community. It is a member of the Pre-school Learning Alliance, Children’s Playlink and is registered with OFSTED, and with the Local Authority to receive the Nursery Grant. 
Rainbow Teddies occupies two classrooms at Manorbrook Primary School. In addition to excellent indoor facilities it offers all year round access to an outdoor area. We offer Teddy Tot sessions to 2.5 to 3 year olds and Rising School Sessions for our 3 to 4 year old. Additional lunch sessions are also available. 
Everyone involved on a regular basis is subject to CRB checking. Our very experience staff work hard to provide a caring, stimulating and fun atmosphere where children’s needs are met and parental input is valued. Parents and children are welcome to visit at any time. An appointment is not always necessary but a phone call will ensure you visit at a convenient time for someone to speak with you. Manorbrook Primary School, Thornbury, BS35 1JW

We provide respite for children and carers managing disadvantage or physical, emotional, educational disability.
We meet Mondays, 9.30am-12.30pm at the SureStart Childrens Centre, Gillingstool, Thornbury (from April 21st).
Sessions include structured child care and play, music and craft with refreshments, followed by a stay and share family lunch and play. We have a parent/carers room where we provide a social gathering place alongside an information and support group. Session fees are £5 or £2.50 for referred families.

Our pre-school welcomes children from 2 and a half to 4 years old and can accept government granted places from the age of 3.
We are open on Monday all day, and Tuesday-Friday mornings. There is a lunch club option on Monday, Wednesday and Friday for children over 3.
We are very proud of our all seasons, outside area which the children are developing into a wonderful eco garden.

We are a family school, founded in 1947. The School is set in 28 acres of beautiful grounds. The 250 pupils from the Nursery (2-4 year olds) and the Lower School (4-7 year olds) through to the Upper School (7-14 year Olds) are able to continue as day children or as boarders (on a full-time, weekly or casual basis).
The Nursery school operates as an integral part of Early Years Department of school. The Nursery is housed in a separate building in the grounds of the school. Attached to these buildings there is a walled garden and paved area well equipped with outdoor play equipment.
