2pm: Learn to Knit at The Wool Stop

A three part learn to knit workshop. Over three weeks you will learn all the basics of knitting and complete a simple Beanie Hat. You will then be well equipped to embark on a project of your own choice during the final session.

Dates: Thursday 11th, Thursday 18th and Thursday 25th September all from 2pm to 4.30pm

Venue: The Wool Stop, 15 The Plain, Thornbury BS35 2BD

Cost: £45.00 per person for the three afternoons. All materials and refreshments will be provided, apart from materials for your own chosen project during the last day.

11am: National Gardens Scheme Open Day
The Sheiling School

Provisional arrangements to be confirmed: Open from 11am to 4:30pm. Admission for adults £4, children free. Refreshments available and a plant sale.

Thornbury New Parke Archaeology Group are expected to be back by popular demand, holding another dig at the pig pond or the castle pond.

A great workshop where you will learn lots of tips for finishing off garments, including the dreaded sewing up!

All the workshops will be run by Jacqui Harding. We are always open to suggestions for workshops, so if there is something you really want to learn and its not listed, let us know and we will see what we can do!
