Thornbury Lions Club run Fun Casinos to raise funds for local charities. For a fee, they provide equipment, staff and expertise to operate 6-8 tables, including Black Jack, Roulette and other card and dice games. Each table covers 15 party-goers.
The Casinos usually operate 8-11pm on Fridays or Saturdays. The Lions require a room with few obstructions, up to 35 chairs and good lighting, and a non-refundable deposit.

Fascinating Rhythm is one of the UK's top female close harmony singing groups. We love to sing together and entertain audiences in all kinds of venues including concerts, social evenings, charity events, competitions and festivals. Singing unaccompanied in 4 part harmony, we perform a wide range of songs such as Come Fly With Me, Sweet Dreams, One Moment In Time, One Fine Day, Raining Men and I Have Dreamed.
We rehearse every Thursday from 7.30-10pm at King George Memorial Hall, Rangeworthy.

They are available to sing at functions in and around Thornbury. OCTAVES stands for Our Children in Thornbury Are Very Enthusiastic Singers!

The inspiration of the late saxophone player Richard Gulliver, the band is made up of musicians from Thornbury and its surrounds, who are from all walks of life, and who share a common aim of providing good quality entertainment.
The band performs throughout the year at concerts, weddings and parties, with an annual Christmas concert. We play Swing instrumental numbers from the 1930s to modern times.

With sequins and rich colours we are a local dance troupe who blend a mix of traditional and modern belly dance styles, in an interesting and evocative way, to delight our audiences. The troupe dance regularly at events around the Bristol area. We are available to perform at charity events, fetes, carnivals and more, only charging expenses.
