Wedding Open Evening
5-8pm, Berkeley Castle, Berkeley

Special discounts and fabulous prizes are on offer at Berkeley Castle’s Wedding Open Evening.

The Castle has been licensed for wedding ceremonies since 2008, and has rapidly become a very popular choice. The Castle now hosts in excess of 30 weddings a year, and celebrates its first Civil Partnership this year.

The Castle has brought together over 15 local suppliers who have all worked on events at the Castle, to provide a one-stop shop for any couples planning their wedding.

It will be a fantastic opportunity for brides and grooms to-be to view the Castle, meet local florists, caterers, photographers, accommodation and transport providers, musicians, beauticians and toastmasters who are all familiar with working at the Castle.

Refreshments will be provided by the Castle’s three caterers, Fosters Event Catering, Napier Catering and William’s Kitchen at Calcot Manor. The function rooms will be decorated by the participating florists and back-ground music will be provided by entertainers.

Suppliers will be providing special offers and discounts available only at this event, and there will also be some fabulous prizes to be won during the evening.

You could book the whole wedding in one night!

The event is free to attend, just register with the Event Co-ordinator by phone on 01453 810332 or e-mail below.

The picturesque market town of Berkeley on the edge of the Cotswolds is becoming a centre of excellence for any couples planning their wedding.

Berkeley is best known as the home of Dr. Edward Jenner and the site of historic Berkeley Castle, however recently Berkeley is getting known for being the wedding capital of the Cotswolds!

In addition to this beautiful venue Berkeley now boasts its first bridal wear shop – Veils of Berkeley. Set-up by two local girls, the shop opened in August 2010. Veils of Berkeley provides a one-stop shop for all bridal wear and accessories and offers a very exclusive service for all budgets.

So that’s the venue and the dress arranged, Berkeley Flowers offers the perfect solution for all floral arrangements and the Michael Anthony Salon provides the answer to all hairdressing requirements, whilst Total Beauty (also run by another local girl) offers a superb range of beauty treatments including make-up, nails and bridal pampering packages.

After the beauty and hair consultations, brides can pop next door to the Berkeley Bakery to discuss the wedding cake – you really can book it all here!

Wedding guests can book into the nearby Malt House for wedding night accommodation, as well as other accommodation providers within the Town Centre. Sorted!

Berkeley truly is a great place to start and end your Cotswold wedding.
