Thornbury Bookshop has been in town for many years, but we've recently moved to brand new premises on Thornbury's High Street - so new we're still waiting for a proper sign to be installed!

Every week at Thornbury Bookshop we change our window display, to give you a taste of what's new in, and what we think you'd like to dip into.

Discover more about Thornbury and South Gloucestershire from the books and maps in our special section on the local area and its history. We support local authors and regularly promote their new publications.

We also sponsor Thornbury's schools, charities and book clubs, often providing books as prizes and offering discounts to reading groups.

Thornbury Bookshop is a proud champion of Thornbury's community projects, such as the campaign to reduce plastic bag usage and the displays of art in shop windows to promote the Arts Festival.
