Health and safety should not be scary or complicated. There are lots of self-help kits and documents available, and you can seek free help from your health and safety team at South Glos Council.
Every business needs someone who is competent in health and safety, a safety policy, a risk assessment, trained and informed staff, and premises need to meet basic workplace standards.
Businesses that are safe tend to be more successful and their staff feel more valued and secure.

We exist to encourage friendship and companionship amongst retired Professional and Business men. We meet monthly at Bristol Golf Club for lunch followed by a speaker on a wide variety of interesting topics.
We are not an organisation which exists to raise funds for charity, but we do voluntarily support a selected charity each year.
We hold three ladies lunches each year at local restaurants and a black tie dinner at Thornbury Castle. We also arrange an annual coach holiday for members and wives.
