We are a section of Thornbury Museum, meeting at United Reformed Church, Chapel St on the first Thursday of every month at 7.30pm. Come along for an informal exchange of news, discussion and enquiries about local history and local family research. Contact 885087 for more details.

Thornbury Geology Group
We are a section of Thornbury Museum and meet on the third Thursday of each month at 7.30pm in the Chantry. We meet to exchange information about local and world wide geological topics and examine maps, rocks, minerals and fossils. Promotion and demonstrations of traditional bread making, cheese making and cider brewing are all put into a historical context for this Heritage Open Weekend event, including a demonstration by Codrington Brewery. Displays and history talks included. Tea and cakes on sale at neighbouring St Mary’s Church from 2-4pm. Disabled access is available.
