We want everyone in Thornbury to feel part of our "Blooming" campaign!

• THANK-YOU to Jekka McVicar for an excellent evening in December. We all learnt a lot and were well entertained in the process... If you missed this...

• DON'T MISS our next social and Fund Raising event. On February 27th we are very lucky to have "THE NAKED GARDENER" Ian Pollard from Abbey House Gardens in Malmesbury speaking at the Armstrong Hall. Thanks to The Rotary Club of Thornbury for organising and assisting with this event. Tickets are £10 from The Town Hall, Thornbury Garden Shop, J & T Owens Florists or any Rotarian. Buy early - it's a sure sell out! There is a poster attached to this letter please display it if you can.

• 2007 THORNBURY IN BLOOM CAMPAIGN. Plans are now under way for the coming summer displays. Anyone with any ideas or if you would like to help with either sponsorship or practical help - please contact any member of the Thornbury in Bloom Committee. We would particularly like to have some young people involved- if you can offer enthusiasm and ideas perhaps on Conservation and The Environment please get in touch. Our Chairman Robert Gorham can be contacted on 01454 415450 or pop into the Town Hall.

• Don't forget we have lots of local competitions for local residents and businesses. No need to be shy - support your Town - get planning your displays and environmental projects NOW!

• VOLUNTEERS If you or your organisation would be able to help our campaign in any way please let us know. It would be helpful to have some willing hands we could call on occasionally.
