HAPPY CHRISTMAS AND HAVE A GOOD 2008 from everyone in Thornbury In Bloom.
A huge thank-you to everyone who has helped us over the past year.
We have now planted a large number of daffodils around Thornbury and have been able to help St Mary's Church, Manorbrook School and all the other Primary Schools with bulb planting projects.
We have lots of ideas for the spring to raise funds and to improve floral displays so look out for more news in the New Year. If you are out for a walk over the holiday period do go and have a look at our new trees in the Mundy Playing Fields. Some have now been sponsored and some were purchased with a grant donated by Judith Hurford one of Thornbury's Tree wardens.
If you have any ideas about projects that we could look at please let us know- we can't promise to do everything but it would be good to have ideas and to know what is important to the people of Thornbury because that, at the end of the day, is what it is all about - making our town a better place in which to live and work.
Thank-you all again.
