Help beat burglars and have the Christmas you deserve

As part of their seasonal safety campaign Avon and Somerset Police are sending officers out to Thornbury to tell us how to keep our homes secure.
There will be a chance to win a digital camera if you see officers out and about with “Billy the Burglar”.
All you have to do is talk to Billy to get a special password, which you then submit with your name and contact details on the Christmas campaign section of their website. You will then automatically be entered into a prize draw.
Billy will be appearing in Thornbury between 10am and midday.
Key messages are: always lock up, whether it’s your home or car; mark your property with your postcode; register it at www.immobilise.com and call police straight away if you suspect someone is in your neighbourhood looking to commit crime.
