Thornbury in Bloom

Edition 25: June 2012.

<< previous edition: February 2012
next edition: April 2013>>

Dear Friends and Supporters,

With just over SEVEN weeks to go before judging we are now gearing up for the final push!

Thanks to Jean Owen and Fran Sparrow for getting the flowers on the pump installed early in time for the Jubilee. Everything else will now go into place over the next 2-3 weeks.

We now need some offers of help for planting and weeding etc so if you will be available –please get in touch and let me know what sort of things you could help with.

Judging will take place on MONDAY 30TH JULY BETWEEN 9am and 11.30 am with a lunch until about 12.30.

If you are likely to be involved please keep those hours free until we have a more detailed timetable.

Please also keep in mind that the week-end of 28th/29th July will be the big last minute clean –up for which we need all help possible!

Fund raising is still an important task and there is still time to donate if you have not yet done so!

To help with this we will be having a stall at the June Food Fair [23rd]. Guy Rawlinson will be organising this, if you can help with time or donations of plants, produce or flowers to sell please get in touch with me or Guy as soon as possible.

Please also let me know as soon as possible if there are projects you have been involved with that may be of interest to the judges. Especially if you are involved with schools or Wildlife.

SO HERE WE GO- INTO THE LAST FEW WEEKS- THIS IS THE TIME YOU CAN REALLY HELP-

SO please get in touch!- Join in and have some fun!
