HAPPY CHRISTMAS

And THANK-YOU to everyone who has supported us in any way in 2008. We are all looking forward to a very challenging, busy but successful 2009.

This autumn we have planted 2000 Mini Narcissus, 1000 Snowdrops,1000 Crocus and about 360 large daffodils about the town. Spring will soon be here!

And while you are having your Christmas break don’t forget...

We also need... A PERSON! We really need a fund-raiser to chase up some of the businesses in the area that could do a little more to support our efforts- which are for the benefit of the WHOLE TOWN! If you have a little time on your hands and perhaps have done a bit of fund-raising/marketing/advertising and are not shy about picking up the phone and talking to local businesses we would LOVE to hear from you!!! No need to formally join in “committee meetings” just be part of our team.

Tree Planting. We have a group looking at tree planting in the Town and if you are interested in sponsoring a tree in memory of a loved one or to promote your business or organisation – please get in touch.

Date for your Diary. Tuesday 27th January- talk by the Curator of Westonbirt Arboretum-7.30pm Cossham Hall-Tickets to go on sale shortly. £5.00

Best wishes from Sue Aitken and ALL the Thornbury In Bloom Team.
