Thornbury in Bloom

Edition 1: November 2006.

next edition: February 2007 >>

Welcome to the very first THORNBURY IN BLOOM Newsletter produced to keep you and everyone in Thornbury in touch with what is going on and how you can provide help and support. If you have received this on behalf of a group or Organisation please pass it on, display it on a notice board or read out its contents at your meetings. We want everyone in Thornbury to feel part of our "Blooming" campaign!

• THANK-YOU firstly to Judith Payne who has given many years dedicated and successful work as Chairman to the committee. Judith is stepping down as Chairman but- thank-goodness is staying on the committee.

• WELCOME to Robert Gorham our new Chairman. Robert has also given many years service as a committee member and has now agreed to take over the reigns. We wish him Good Luck and I am sure everyone will give him huge support.

• 2006 GOLD MEDAL! No doubt everyone knows we won a Gold Medal for 2006- we have to maintain an excellent standard and there is also the elusive "Best in Class" Prize to be won - SO there is loads to be done for next year.

• VOLUNTEERS If you or your organisation would be able to help our campaign in any way please let us know. It would be helpful to have some willing hands we could call on occasionally.
