ACT is a project to build a new performance and arts venue in Thornbury.
It has been set up as an independent (not for profit) organisation solely with the purpose of developing and building a new 'state of the art' performance venue in Thornbury.
It will serve the town and local area, bridging the arts facilities vacuum between Bristol, Cheltenham and Bath.

The Octagon Visual Arts Centre is based in the Castle School, Thornbury. It consists of a teaching space and a gallery that is for school and community use.

Rural Arts South Gloucestershire is the Rural & Community Arts Touring Scheme for South Gloucestershire. It provides a choice of high quality arts events for local communities. These include performances by professional companies, workshops and films, usually held in village halls, schools or community centres.
