St Mary's Church is delighted to welcome back to Thornbury, from our link parish of Bufumbo in South East Uganda, James and John, accompanied by Margaret and William. They will be with us for two weeks, spending time in schools, visiting the allotments, meeting our town councillors, and enjoying meals in the homes of many parishioners. At our church services in St Mary’s Thornbury and St Paul’s, The Hackett, they will inspire us with their African enthusiasm. This is a great occasion, and follows on from the visit to Uganda made by the Vicar and six church members in February.
