Visitors flock to new Berkeley Event
The “Berkeley Skirmish”, the new Medieval event at Berkeley Castle, attracted just under 6,000 visitors to its first weekend, held on the Meadow in front of the 12th Century Castle.
Under blue skies, visitors enjoyed a “Rumbustious Medieval Romp” over two days, being entertained by Jousts, Cossack displays, medieval firepower demonstrations, living history camp and a climactic battle each day.
