The Thornbury Arts Festival Committee is to run a second Severn Vale Open Art Studios event. Have you ever had the pleasure of following a trail of quality painting, sculpture and craft exhibitions to delight the senses? Following the successful event last year, the Severn vale Open Art Studios Trail is to run again in 2007. For those who missed it last year, many talented Artists, from Almondsbury up the Severn vale to Berkeley, opened their studios to the public.

This year again you may select your own route from an exciting glossy brochure, showing examples of the Artists’ work and giving times and locations to help you organise your visits. Many local Artists, some well known to us all, are taking part by opening up their studios with prepared exhibitions. During the Thornbury Festival week, 20th – 28th April, examples of Artists’ work are to form an exhibition in the Town Hall and the trail event will be the following week, 28th April – 7th May. We would also welcome any additional Artists who are interested in taking part.
