Thornbury-based Ronnie's restaurant is The Good Food Guide Restaurant of the Year 2009. The award was presented to Ronnie's chef Ron Faulkner by top chef Heston Blumenthal OBE, at the Which? Awards 2009 ceremony, and recognises excellence and good service. More than 23,000 people around the country voted for their top local independent restaurant.
