Recycle your Cooking Oil in Thornbury
We can now recycle waste cooking oil at Thornbury's SORT IT! Centre, helping to save money and create clean electricity.
Living Fuels collects the waste oil and refines it to produce a biofuel which in turn powers specially-designed engines to supply safe, clean, renewable electricity to the National Grid. One litre of used cooking oil can generate enough power to make 240 cups of tea.
