Bob Slade is the new President of Thornbury Rotary Club for 2009/10.
He is the 37th President since the club began in 1971. His two charities are Meningitis Research and the Fairbridge Trust, which helps disadvantaged young people learn skills to achieve worthwhile employment and live a normal, happy and secure life.
Thornbury Rotary Club is extremely active and vibrant, and always welcomes new members from the local business and professional community.
