Last chance to see Anglo-Saxon ring
A very rare Anglo-Saxon gold ring has been on display at Berkeley Castle after being shown in the BBC2 series Digging for Britain.
The ring will only be exhibited in the Castle until Sunday 3rd October and is a unique opportunity as it is the first time that the ring has been seen publicly for nearly 40 years, when it was exhibited at the Victoria & Albert Museum London in 1972. It has never before been exhibited at the Castle.
