The Friends of Berkeley Castle have recently completed three projects: the repair of the highly-prized, 17th century Thomas Tompion longcase clock, the clean and repair of a portrait of Charles Berkeley, eldest son of 8th Baron Berkeley who died in 1641, and a display of some replica chain mail and soldier’s helmet in the Armoury.
