Two pioneering 18th-century doctors and the unusual uses to which they put their gardens are the focus of a new study by a University of Bristol historian in conjunction with the Edward Jenner Museum in Berkeley.
Dr Clare Hickman will investigate how surgeon John Hunter and vaccination pioneer Edward Jenner used their gardens to further their outstanding medical activities.
