Is there a group in Thornbury who take a keener interest in the weekend weather forecasts than the men and women of TCLA? The Volunteers of Thornbury Christmas Lights Association are out and about on autumn Sunday mornings, in all weathers, wiring, rigging and fixing the displays and garlands that brighten and cheer the High Street in the darkest days of winter. Sadly, Terry Press the guiding light behind the Association died earlier this year so the team have had to rebuild the organisation to take on Terry’s formidable efforts.
