At Old Down Country Park the vegetables in the Victorian Garden are always under attack from crows and rooks. So much so that they have had to call in Andy Stovold, the ex-Gloucester cricketer to lend a hand until the garden can be filled with Scarecrows.
Park General Manager, Alex Brown says: "We need some Silly Scarecrows for the garden and so we have put together a competition to make some funny imaginative scarecrows. The best scarecrow will win a great day out at Old Down."
