Berkeley Castle features on BBC2’s “Castle in the Country” towards the end of July, shown at 2.30pm on weekdays. Filming took place in 2007 with John Craven and Gloria Hunniford exploring the historic Gloucestershire Estate and surrounding Vale.
July is a very busy month for the Castle, now open 7 days a week, with an art exhibition 19th–23rd July by artist Mila Judge-Fürstová and the new Mediaeval event “The Berkeley Skirmish” featuring living history, jousting, battles and more on 26/27th July.
