South Gloucestershire Trading Standards would like to reiterate to consumers to be wary of those visiting unexpectedly.
Trading Standards have been made aware of rogue traders visiting vulnerable residents offering to do repair work following the stormy weather and high winds. Money has then been demanded for work not carried out.
These incidents are linked to distraction burglaries and money has been stolen in many cases.
