Half Term Tues 26th – Thurs 28th October, Great Hall, Berkeley Castle, Berkeley GL13 9BQ
During the October Half Term, Henry VIII will be strolling around Berkeley Castle, introducing himself to visitors as he inspects the Castle over 450 years after his last visit.
This unique puppet show is staged in the magnificent Great Hall and tells Henry VIII’s story in his own words. During the performance ghosts of his Queens and principal courtiers come back to haunt him, creating a truly memorable experience for young and old alike.
The Castle will be open from 11am – 5.30pm and there will be two one-hour performances of the show each day at 12.30pm and 3pm. In between shows, Henry will wander the corridors of Berkeley Castle, interacting with visitors on the way.
The best thing of all is that the puppet show, as well as the guided tour is included within the usual admission charge to the Castle.
