Take Note is a Festival to promote music groups across South Gloucestershire using local libraries as the venues to bring music into the heart of each community. The first Take Note Festival took place in 2009 and we now plan to hold a second Festival over the 2011 Easter period.

On the Festival launch day, we would like to hold a number of simultaneous concerts in the larger libraries across South Gloucestershire showcasing our very best community choirs, bands and orchestral groups complimented by young musicians from the Music Centres and schools.

This will be followed by individual concerts from primary schools in each library during the last week of term and workshops in the Easter school holidays.
