Sustainable Thornbury Plastic Bag Campaign Launch
Plastic Bag Amnesty – St Mary’s Centre.

Sustainable Thornbury’s campaign to reduce plastic bag use in Thornbury will be launched by declaring a plastic bag amnesty.

Come and find out what is happening and what you can do to help. If all of us carry our own reusable bags, we can reduce the need for our retailers to give out plastic bags.

We hope to have supplies of Thornbury’s new fair trade jute bag on sale as well as some funky locally made recycled bags to give away to some lucky customers who bring us their plastic bags to recycle in exchange.

Fish in the back of drawers and cupboards for those lurking plastic carriers and bring them for recycling! Let’s try to create the biggest pile of plastic bags for recycling that Thornbury has seen.

Bring out your bags for recycling in support of Sustainable Thornbury’s plastic bag reduction campaign. For further information call Margaret on 01454 416778 or email using the link below.
