Event

Sunday 5th July 2009
Olveston and Tockington Open Gardens
1-4.30pm

For a truly inspirational outing you can do no better than popping along to the Olveston and Tockington Open Gardens day.

The garden trail lets you peek into the back gardens of some of the village's most interesting and inspirational green spaces, from informal family gardens, traditional cottage gardens and productive allotments, to mature formal gardens.

There will be teas and cakes, plants to buy and a stall selling just the prettiest hand-made bird and insect boxes, to help encourage wildlife to make your garden "home".

Take a leisurely walk around the gardens - the trail is little more than half a mile and we guarantee that you will see gardening delights that are otherwise hidden from view.

So, whether you are green fingered or not come and share in the pleasure of someone else's hard work!

The benefiting charity is 1st Olveston Scouts.
