Monday 3rd October 2011
October Oxjam in Olveston
8pm, The White Hart, Olveston

A special version of the regular FREE open mic session.
As part of the nationwide month-long Oxjam festival, in aid of Oxfam, we will be hosting a special guest set from renowned Bristol countryblues artist Steve Page. Steve has just launched his new album "The Age of Plenty" and will be playing songs from that as well as material from his widely-acclaimed back catalogue.

Supporting Steve will be other local musicians and some new
performers that you die-hards won't have seen. As always, new performers are very welcome. It will be a packed session, so we're starting promptly at 8pm. There will be games, quiz and prizes.

A warning for the audience... it's going to be busy, so get there early, get your beer and grab a seat while there are still some left. Admission is free, but a donation to help Oxfam in their ongoing global fight against poverty will be very much appreciated. If you want to know more, contact Noel on 01454 614099.
