Hawk and Owl Charity Day
The site will be open 10.30am–4.30pm, Falconry display at 2.30pm, Acton Court

Acton Court invites you to spend a day with the birds in support of the Hawk and Owl Trust. Eminent conservationist, Jemima Parry-Jones MBE, will talk about her work to save the South Asian vultures from extinction, followed by a falconry display in the afternoon.

Broadcaster and conservationist, Chris Sperring MBE leads nature walks around the grounds; there will be a treasure hunt for children, bird box building, pond dipping, birds of prey and a variety of stalls, including the Cotleigh Brewery and many other activities.

The State Rooms of the house will be open and visitors are welcome to picnic in the grounds. All proceeds to the Hawk and Owl Trust.

Tickets include all events £6 (£4 concessions) £16 family ticket (two adults and three children)

Owl Prowls

Due to this year's unusual weather and nesting patterns, Owl Prowl dates will be announced when the house opens. Please check our website or call the information line for updates.
