Wednesday 17th to Saturday 20th February 7.15 nightly, matinees 2.15pm on Friday and Saturday, Armstrong Hall, Thornbury
Being in a musical theatre group is lots of fun – oh yes it is! It is also lots of hard work, but how many people would expect that sometimes sacrifice is necessary?! Gary Kennedy made just such a gesture when he shaved off his beautiful black curls in order to play Daddy Warbucks in TMTG’s production of ANNIE; in so doing he also raised £250 for “Children in Need”.
Following the trend of “orphan made good” the group will be performing the ever popular CINDERELLA in the February half term and someone else is contemplating a hairy sacrifice. Geoff Kitchen has to decide whether or not to lose his beard for his role as one of the Ugly Sisters – hard decision Geoff! Will he? Won’t he? - only one way to find out, book your tickets and come along for a guaranteed fun time for all of the family. Make sure you are in good voice for all the booing and cheering.
Tickets are £9, concessions £8. A family ticket at £28 for two adults and two children or one adult and three children is available on Friday and Saturday. There is a reduction of 50p per ticket for groups of 15 or more. Tickets can be obtained by ringing 04154 415850. The box office will be opening at Wildings, High Street, Thornbury on Wednesday 3rd February.
