Armstrong Hall, Thornbury
Reviving the Christmas Brass Band concert tradition in Thornbury has been on the Portishead Town Band's wish list for the past couple of years.
With a number of ex-Thornbury Band players within the ranks at Portishead the evening promises to be the perfect way to herald in the Christmas spirit! The band will be performing several seasonal items including 'Little Drummer Boy', 'Troika' and the Nat King Cole favourite 'Christmas Song'. The audience will also be able to participate in some carol singing accompanied by one of the South West's premier brass bands!
The band are pleased to be teaming up with saxophone group Standing Stones. The group are well known across Bristol and South Gloucestershire and all proceeds raised from their performances are donated to Thornbury Stroke Group.
Tickets for the evening are priced at £6 and available from Thornbury Town Hall or on the door on the night. Doors open at 7.30pm. For more information please click below.
