Charity Carriage Driving Lunch and Talk

Julie Camm, Owner and Manager of Alveston House Hotel in Thornbury, Bristol will be giving a talk on her other passion in life aside from the beautiful Georgian hotel ‒ Carriage Driving.
Coffee and biscuits will be served at 11am before the fascinating talk begins at 11.30am where Julie will talk through how, why and when she became involved in the world of carriage driving whilst showing guests a selection of thrilling slides from her own collection.
Offering a rare insight into Julie’s personal life, the talk will be followed by a delicious buffet lunch, freshly prepared by Head Chef Ben, giving guests the perfect opportunity to chat about Julie’s unusual hobby over a glass of wine.
Tickets are just £15 per person with £1 per ticket sale going to local Thornbury based brain tumour charity, Hammer Out.
If you'd like to attend the talk but don't have time to stay for lunch, the cost will be £5 for the talk and coffee/biscuits on arrival – still with £1 going to Hammer Out.
Julie has represented Great Britain at five combined Pony World Championships and has won several major international competitions throughout Europe.
