Event

Friday 12th February 2010
Art History Day School
10.30am-4.30pm, Coach Hall, The Chantry

Lynne Gibson used to lead these courses under the auspices of the university, but since they were withdrawn we have had a private arrangement with Lynne so that we can continue with 4 day schools a year, 2 in the Autumn and 2 in the Spring. She is a very popular lecturer with a vast collection of slides, and the day is always enjoyable.

Our next day school is entitled Come Rain or Come Shine, where we will look at paintings reflecting the weather, considering how artists have depicted the changing seasons, and light conditions.

Coffee, tea and biscuits are provided mid-morning and mid-afternoon. The cost is £22.50 and if you would like to enrol please ring Pauline Darley on 01454 416291 to check availability as numbers will be limited.
