Writer in residence Lesley Saunders will perform her own work inspired by Acton Court, along with poems of the English Renaissance. She will be accompanied by renowned lutanist Matthew Spring. Dr. Spring has played on more than 50 CDs and has written many books and articles on the subject of the lute. He is currently a lecturer at Bath Spa University.
