Competition terms and conditions
The terms "we" and "us" refer to Claire Jaggard and the websites operated by Claire Jaggard.
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") shall be binding on you when entering any competitions operated by us.
Entry and participation in any competition shall be deemed an unconditional acceptance by you of these Terms. All entry instructions and any other specific details relating to the competition or the prizes form part of these Terms.
Eligibility to enter competitions
Competitions are open to anyone living or working in the Thornbury, South Gloucestershire area.
Where prizes are suitable only for over-18s (for example, if a prize includes alcohol), then only over 18s may enter.
Only one entry per person will be permitted. Multiple entries will be disqualified.
The CompetitionCompetitions may be run across several websites simultaneously; the prizewinner will be picked from the combined list of entrants.
Any entries that are, in our opinion, spurious, incomplete, indecipherable or ineligible will be void.
We do not accept responsibility for entries lost, damaged or delayed in transit to us or our database. Proof that an entry has been sent will not be accepted as proof of receipt.
Late entries will not be accepted.
Source material utilised by our question compilers shall be taken as correct.
In the case of a prize draw, the first correct entry drawn will be the winner.
The decision of our judges is final and conclusive in all circumstances and no correspondence will be entered into.
We shall be entitled to cancel a competition with immediate effect by stating the same on the relevant website, without any liability.
PrizesAll prizes are non-transferable and may not be given or assigned to another person. Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash or other alternatives. We may, in sole discretion, substitute a reasonable alternative for any of the prizes at any time.
We do not accept any liability for claims or prizes which are lost, delayed or damaged in the post or otherwise not validly received by you.
Prizes must be accepted within six months of being awarded.
Prizes may be provided by a third party. We do not accept any liability for the third party's failure to deliver the prize.
If we are unable to contact a prizewinner, we reserve the right to draw a substitute prizewinner, without any liability to the original prizewinner.
PublicityWinners must as a condition of the prize participate in all required publicity.
We shall be entitled to refer to your association with the Competition and the Prize in all publicity, marketing and Competition material.
Personal informationIf you are drawn as the winner of a competition, your personal details may be passed on to a third party for the purposes of providing the prize.
GeneralYou acknowledge that the internet is not a secure medium and information submitted to competitions hosted on websites owned or controlled by us may be accessed by third parties. We accept no liability in such cases.
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with English Law.
These Terms represent the entire agreement between the parties relating to the Competition or the Prize (unless otherwise expressly confirmed in writing by us) and supersede all prior representations, agreements, negotiations or understandings (whether oral or in writing). The invalidity or unenforceability of the whole or part of a Term or Condition does not affect or impair the continuation in force of the remainder of the Terms.
