Hi Everyone,

Head outdoors this May in Thornbury... whatever the weather!

Enter our new competitions for the chance to be entertained by top quality musicians and dancers from all over the world at June's Rockhampton Folk Festival and tuck into a box of tasty treats from Thornbury's newest lifestyle and gift shop Elsie & Bea.

Keep an eye on our offers page for new deals and discounts - this month there's 10% off group bookings at Thornbury Golf Centre - check out their newly-renovated bar when it re-opens this month.

Enjoy family fun with food, entertainment and a fun dog show at Love Thornbury's Outside Fest, raising funds for Thornbury in Bloom, and vote for your favourite band to perform at Thornbury Carnival in the Battle of the Bands.

Also, head to Berkeley Castle for The Joust! and to Old Down Country Park for fun and frolics at their Bank Holiday Spring Fayre... and follow the Severn Vale Art Trail to discover talented local artists and original artwork.

Explore 28 acres of countryside and learn about Tockington Manor's family approach to schooling at their School and Nursery Open Day.

New in Thornbury this month are free activity sessions for the over 75s at Grace Care Centre, a chance to find food for free on a foraging walk around Thornbury, and a taste of conscience-friendly food at Thornbury's Fairtrade International Day.

Finally, let Thornbury Musical Theatre Group take you Back To The Future at their first concert in Thornbury since COVID struck.

See our events calendar for more magical May moments and let us know what you'd like to publicise.

Best wishes,

Claire
