Love Thornbury: 80 Years of the Royal British Legion
Thornbury High Street
10am-5pm
Love Thornbury are planning community events to be held on the first Saturday of most months on Thornbury High Street.
2024 marks the 80th anniversary of D-Day and the Battle of Normandy, and this event will raise funds for the Royal British Legion.
Bring your friends and family for sunshine and fun.
It's hoped event will be opened by Thornbury's Mayor.
We'll have vintage bikes and cars, live music from the Panache Steel Band, Moon Rivers and others, entertainment for all the family, food, sweet stuff, plus... lots of local stallholders selling crafts, accessories and more.
Traditional afternoon tea take-aways will be available, with profits split between the Royal British Legion and Love Thornbury. You can even upgrade to include Prosecco.
Thornbury Radio will be broadcasting live all day.
How can you help? If you are a local business, a charity or a school or nursery, you may wish to have a stall. Or you can volunteer to help the day run smoothly.
